Traveling Anywhere Soon?

As Summer is approaching, here are a few tips to stay healthy when traveling!

  1. Choose cafés and restaurants instead of fast food places as they always have a wider variety of items to choose from including salads, small sandwiches & platters!
  2. Always carry a healthy snack with you; you never know when you will have your next meal. Carry items that have a long shelf life and don’t need refrigeration like oat bars, granola bars, small whole grain cereal boxes or dried fruits like apricots and raw nuts (walnuts and almonds)
  3. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Keep a bottle of water near at all times to avoid dehydration or confusing thirst with hunger
  4. Enjoy! Keep it balanced with the 80/20 rule, make healthy choices mostly but enjoy a few indulgent meals here and there, especially if they are staples of the country you're visiting!
